Working Groups
At the core of empa’s activities is a desire to improve the delivery of property services.
Themed working groups, set up by the empa Executive to consider specific issues, are the engine room to bring about change.
The groups currently operating are:
- Soft facilities management – Cleaning, security, grounds maintenance and similar activities.
- Responsive maintenance – Small works items costing in the order of £400.
- Minor works:
- Framework £10-500K becoming operational July 2009
- Framework £500-2000K becoming operational July 2009
- Intermediate Projects
- Framework £2000-7500K becoming operational April 2009
Training matters and Building Schools for the Future Programme are being considered by the empa Executive Committee.
